HYDRATE! HYDRATE! HYDRATE! Pro Tip: Always hydrate the day prior to being outdoors, balance water with electrolytes – less sugar, the better! EAT BEFORE COMING!!!
Students are to arrive no EARLIER than 11:45am to line up as check-in will begin @ 12pm.
Students MUST have:
> Current instrument
> Pencil & 3-ring binder
> Fanny Pack
> Hat / sunscreen
> 1/2 gallon FILLED water jug – we will have water to replenish, but they must come filled.
> Come in proper dress code: Plain black athletic shorts (longer than a 5" inseam,) plain white t-shirt (color guard to wear purple.) Muscle shirts, tank tops, crop tops w/ skin showing, tube tops, shirts with cuts that reveal sports bras, volleyball type athletic shorts, short shorts, booty shorts will NOT be permitted. We will dress students (they won’t like what we have) or will send them home to change if they do not come prepared. Please help with this!
> Closed-toed athletic shoes such as tennis shoes (dci.org/shoes has great suggestions)
Note: No jeans, sandals or street shoes permitted (i.e Flip flops, Vans, or Converse)

Dinner will be on their own this week from 4:30p-6p, the band room will be open for those who are bringing meals and staying on campus. There is a refrigerator and microwave to use, students MUST clean up after themselves.

Parents/guardians: Students will be available for pick-up between 8:15pm/8:30pm once they have put everything away and have been formally dismissed by Mr. Cilone. Dismissal time will not exceed 8:30pm.

All students are welcome to join. Attendance is MANDATORY, if you have a scheduling conflict, you MUST discuss with Mr. Cilone, austin.cilone@dvusd.org
