A little bit of history about the 11Bruce's footy journey began in 1994 when he joined the Mississauga Mustangs
- Played 68 games from
1994-2000 for the Mustangs (now the High Park Demons)
- 1994 Premiership
He founded the Guelph (Grand River) Gargoyles in 2001
- Played 57 games from
2001-2005 for the Gargoyles
- His # 11 jumper was retired by Guelph (Grand River) Gargoyles
He founded the Toronto Central Blues in 2006
- This coming Saturday will mark his
175th game for the Blues - a club record!
- Blues Premiership in 2010
- In 2009, he expanded the Central Blues to include Ontario's first organized women's Australian football team and was their inaugural coach
Beyond playing, Bruce has put his hand up countless times to coach and to volunteer on executive committees for the league / for his footy club. He has been the President of AFL Canada, the CAFA, and for his club on numerous occasions.
- In 2022, AFL Ontario renamed their volunteer award the "Bruce Parker AFL Ontario Volunteer of the Year Award"
- ....oh, and he also runs the local AuzKick program for young kids in Toronto...!
Outside of the 300 AFL Ontario games, he has also represented Canada on many occasions including a number of AFL International Cups and 49th Parallel Cups against the U.S.
