Agnes Banks Equine Clinic has 6 well fitted ambulatory vehicles on the road currently, and have a good range of portable equipment including digital radiology, digital ultrasound and videoendoscopy (both resting and exercising). Our team of veterinarians have lots of experience in a variety of areas, including geriatric care, dentistry, reproduction and lameness. The trend toward “haul in” consultation is encouraged to facilitate appointment schedule, eliminate travels fees, and provide extra diagnostic equipment and staff that are immediately at hand if required. Aquis Farm was originally established in Canungra, Queensland in 2015. The Wadham Park Racing Facility along with three surrounding large acre properties were amalgamated to create one of Australia’s finest integrated racing and breeding operation. The previous owner spared no cost in developing what is now Aquis Farm, with a total investment on land and facilities exceeding AUD$30 million.
2017 saw Aquis Farm embark on a new era, taking over the management of the historic Emirates Park property in Murrurundi, New South Wales. Aquis Farm has invested in the areas where capital was needed to ensure success at the highest level. The growth of Aquis Farm has been significant in the stallion market, expanding our roster from four stallions in 2016, to now standing fourteen this season.

Arrowfield Stud is a thoroughbred stud farm comprising 2,500 acres in the fertile Segenhoe Valley, near Scone in the Upper Hunter Valley. Established in 1985, Arrowfield Stud is the largest Australian owned thoroughbred stud and currently stands 11 stallions including the two-time champion sire Snitzel

While the Coolmore operation with which we are familiar today started in earnest in 1975 when John Magnier joined forces with Robert Sangster and Vincent O’Brien, the stud farm now occupied by Coolmore Australia has a history which dates back much further than that. Settled in 1824 by George Bowman and established as ‘Arrowfield’, this property has a precedent of producing racehorses of the highest quality tracing back over 100 years. The 1920 Melbourne Cup winner Poitrel, champion racehorse and sire Heroic and high-class galloper Manfred are examples of some of the wonderful racehorses bred at the Jerrys Plains property by the Moses brothers during the first quarter of the 20th century.
Coolmore Australia was established at Jerrys Plains in 1996. Located on over 8,000 acres, including 5,000 of irrigated river flats and undulating paddocks, the pastures have been shown by agronomic studies to be amongst the highest quality in Australia. Careful management has ensured that the land continues to provide the optimal conditions for the growth and development of thoroughbreds of the highest quality. Those ‘raised and grazed’ at Coolmore’s stud farm include the likes of Fastnet Rock, Redoute’s Choice, Special Harmony, Sea Siren, Vancouver, Pride of Dubai and Winx.
‘Home Of Champions’ has long been the moniker synonymous with Coolmore. At Coolmore Australia, it’s a particularly fitting one.

Our Foundation
The College Foundation was launched in 1989 to further develop Marcus Oldham as Australia’s independent centre of excellence in rural and equine business management education.
The Foundation is guided by a dynamic Board of volunteers, representing College graduates, families, staff and the corporate sector, who work collaboratively with the College Council to provide and enhance a range of academic opportunities for its students.
Unlike other tertiary institutions, Marcus Oldham does not receive any formal funding and is solely reliant on the philanthropic generosity of the College community to further advance its facilities and educational programs.
Over the past 30 years, the College Foundation has facilitated the provision of numerous scholarships and bursaries, residential improvements and academic developments, including significant equestrian facilities.

The history of OTTO Sport International GmbH began in the early 1960s when the company founder Werner Otto started building sports courts. Towards the end of the 80s, he started concentrating on the installation of equestrian arenas and specialized in this business. With great zeal, the passionate rider started developing a special type of surface, which was supposed to offer ideal conditions for equestrian sports.
This ideal surface had to be able to provide perfect drainage capabilities, so that the arena could be used during and after even the heaviest of rainfalls.
