Karate Athletes and Coaches,
Lets get ready for the Olympic Qualifier, Jr. Pan Am Games, Cyprus Youth League and the 2021 National Championships!

This is a high level kumite training camp designed for those high caliber athletes looking to perform at the top of their game. The camp is for those athletes 12 years old and older but must be competing at an Advanced or Elite level.

The camp will run Friday – Monday, with a half day Friday and Monday and two 2 hour skills trainings and a Sport Performance/Strength & Conditioning session Saturday and Sunday. Extra sessions involving video analysis, match analysis and ring management tactics will also be included. Private lessons and athlete specific analysis will also be available outside training times.

Each session will be taught by high level coaches including, USA National Team Head Kumite Coach Brody Burns or a top level athlete including 2019 Pan Am Games Champions Tom Scott and Brian Irr. Sport Performance sessions will be run by the highly regarded Coach Chris Stratis of Champion Sports Performance. Coach Stratis trains the USA National Karate Team and is the sole trainer of Tom Scott and Brian Irr.

Participants will train side by side with top athletes, members of the USA Sr. National Team, Jr National Team and international top athletes.

Camp times will vary daily based on the training schedule and participates should plan on tough days and have a flexible schedule.

The entire camp is $125 or $50 a day (2 day minimum). Camp is free to current members of the USA Sr. National Team, Olympic Hopefuls, USA Jr. Pan American Games athletes and anyone competing in the Youth League in Cyprus.

For those coming from out of town, we recommend the Aloft in Richardson at Cityline. It is close to the dojo with several restaurants within walking distance. Airports are DFW International and Dallas Love Field. Both are about 30 minutes from the dojo and hotel.
If anyone wants to stay a few days longer, please let me know and you are welcome to jump in on our daily training sessions in preparation for the Olympic Qualifier
