Rome AFJROTC, representing Rome, Georgia and coached by MSgt Thrash, broke through to the win column for the first time this season, raising their record to 1-5. Standout performer Amayah Crachiolo led the team with a 253.4, supported by Destiny Logan, Matthew Schutte, and Lovett Self. The team remains ranked seventh in the Distinguished Division for the AFJROTC & SFJROTC conference. Rome will look to build on this victory as they prepare to face Nevada AFJROTC next week.
Caney Creek NJROTC, coached by LCDR Raleigh Stahl and based in Conroe, Texas, now drops to a 1-5 record. Wyatt Yusten topped Caney Creek’s scoring with a 229.6, with teammates Alivia Supe, Keilly Santos, and Illiana Rangel contributing toward the team’s total. Caney Creek continues to hold eighteenth place in the Distinguished Division among NJROTC & CGJROTC conference teams and will have a bye week to close out the regular season.
Rome AFJROTC jumped to a commanding 42-point lead after the kneeling stage, widened the gap in prone to 69.2, and sealed the win with a final advantage of 92.3 points after the standing series—the most challenging position for competitors. While each squad had solid contributors, Rome’s top shooter outpaced all others, giving them a steady edge from start to finish.
