This week is bring a friend to dance week: we encourage dancer’s to invite someone interested in dance to try classes this week:). The purpose is to bring in new faces to the studio. We will have a small fun photobooth for fun in the lobby.
*If any parent or older student has time and would like to help, Krystle and I are creating a photobooth tomorrow at noon.

Precompany: It looks like even with four practices not everyone would be there. I need a volunteer parent to help me find two more rehearsal dates that fit best my schedule and the groups.
2 dates have been added and will be in the rehearsal schedule tonight

Hip Hop Level 3 Large and Small Group: I need one parent volunteer to help me schedule this, with the many schedules I am struggling to find something that works.

Musical Theatre ⅘ Beauty School Dropout: To be added this week

Contemporary 3: To be added this week- need one parent to help me find dates that work

Missing Choreography: Please come to the next rehearsal caught up- get with someone in the group for help! For any dance outside of precompany, dances move much faster and your dancer can get behind if not meeting with someone to learn choreo. Level 4/5 you should know choreography to run in class, please go ahead and memorize anything you have missed by this week.

Solos: I do 7/8 solos a month, I reach out to parents a wk to 2 wks before I am ready to start their dancer’s choreo. If a dancer’s schedule is limited or does not fit with mine their choreo is pushed back into September. For June going into July I plan to work on these solos: Lyla, Bennett, Amelia, Sophia, Charlotte, Abbie, Cammie, Ella Grace, Adelyn Ludwig, Skye, and start Dylans. For August I plan to work on Camden, Abigail V, Addy B, Nidhi, Inika, Esme, Syd, and Dylan. If your dancer is not mentioned it is a type o, please send me a message privately to fix this.

Huge Thank You: Krystle for hosting an amazing company party! And a special thanks to Melissa and all of our volunteers for helping Krystle with this huge event! Special thanks to Emerson who created our slide shows!

Congrats Charlotte, Abbie E, and Elsbeth: These dancers competed in nationals this season at Southeast and did amazing! Charlotte was 1st overall in intermediate, runner up to legend, and was in the top 10 for highest scores of the competition. Elsbeth was 7th overall in intermediate. Abbie E. was 3rd overall in the novice division.

Survey: Coming out later this week will be a survey to help me with a few things for fall classes. If everyone can fill that out when it is launched that would be super helpful.

HighSchool Beach Trip: The beach houses are crazy packed this summer, it is best we wait until around September to do a beach trip so stay tuned.
