The season is almost here and we hope you’re as pumped as it’s going to be a big one!

Take your time to review this email as there is important information for all players and club members.

Preseason

We’re heading into week 3 of the preseason running program and hope you’ve all been following along. This program was specifically designed to help get your running legs and fitness ready for the season so please do follow the instructions as you go. Any questions, contact John Morey.

‘Try Footy’ Day

On Saturday March 2nd we will host a ‘Try Footy’  Day at Old Shepard Park from 9:30am. This session is for all players to attend, and we encourage you to bring as many people along as you can – families welcome! The session will be structured with opportunities for people to give some basic skills a try, engage in a few drills and even have a mini (non competitive) scrimmage afterward. Following the session we’ll put on a bit of food and drinks. Last Try Footy Day we had almost 20 first timers attend so let’s beat that this time around! Yes, there will be prizes on the day. Don’t forget out massive recruitment incentive this year – see past news on Team app for details!

Training update – New Monday session option!

Starting March 4th we will be back to a Monday and Thursday session format, only this time we will offer 2 locations on Mondays! We have secured Glencoe Park in Dallas in addition to Old Shepard Park, so Monday sessions will be skills and conditioning focused led by various people and you have your choice of location to attend! Thursdays we will come together as a group at Old Shepard Park to focus more on game play and strategy as the season progresses. Both sessions will begin at 6:15pm sharp, so please arrive early and be ready for 6:15pm.
