And so wraps up the second, annual North Texas Devils golf day. We didn’t think we could top last year, but when the weather produced one of the best golfing days of the year, we knew the odds were in our favor.

Similar to 2022, we have over 80 players registered in what is quickly becoming one of the best golfing days of the year.

We introduced a putting competition for the first time for this year and it was hotly contested, with mr Chad Siddons himself coming out on top after draining a lovely 47 footer for the victory.
After the pre tournament meeting and some light refreshments, all the carts descended on the course for a 1pm shotgun start.

Birdie juice was flowing, quite literally, and some score cards had more birds on them than an edition of sports illustrated.

Massive thanks to all of the volunteers who helped out throughout the day, special mention must go to Jenny Wood and Whitney Siddons for checking in every player upon arrival. To all the girls selling birdie juice on the course, and to all the boys who gave up their day marshalling the course, scoring the closest to the pin, and longest drive.

Congrats to the all the teams, but special mention must go to Team Canterbury who finished on 47 points, team Parched (Orry) for finishing on 49 points, and now the 2 time NTX devils champs, Team Bass with 50 points.

Can they do the three-peat next year? We will find out in 2024!
