Season 5 (DC’s Legends of Tomorrow)
DC’s Legends of Tomorrow was renewed for a fifth season by The CW on January 31, 2019. It premiered on January 21, 2020, with a Crisis on Infinite Earths special airing the prior week, and will conclude on June 2, 2020. The season will consist of 15 episodes, including the special.

Legends of Tomorrow Season 5 Return Date
The next episode of Legends of Tomorrow is called “Swan Thong” and it airs on June 2. This is the Legends of Tomorrow season finale. Unlike several other Arrowverse shows, Legends of Tomorrow joins Black Lightning as one that was actually able to finish its season as planned, despite the coronavirus production shutdown, since they had finished shooting much sooner.

The Legends must convince the civilians to trust them and stand up for their right to choose, but the Fates don’t make it easy by resurrecting the Encores once again. Caity Lotz, Jes Macallan, Dominic Purcell, Nick Zano, Tala Ashe, Maisie Richardson-Sellers, Olivia Swann and Matt Ryan also star. Kevin Mock directed the episode written by Keto Shimizu & Morgan Faust.
The CW has released the official synopsis for “Swan Thong,” the season five finale of DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, which will air on June 2, 2020. The episode will see the Fates ascendant and the world trapped in a 1984-style culture that has eradicated free will (man, Dion’s going to be mad — they did exactly what he expected them to do). The episode will apparently see the Legends standing up against the Fates and trying to raise an army of everday people to help. The Encores who served as Astra’s servants in the first portion of the season, though, are resurrected to face the Legends one last time.
Fans have to wonder, then: does this mean we’ll get another look at Damien Darhk? Probably not, given that he got such a perfect closure in his last appearance, but anything can happen.
