Suggestions for your IHSAA tournament games.

1. Communicate with your teammates at least a couple of days before your game
2. Communicate with the host facility a couple of days before your game
3. Arrive to your first game one hour before kickoff
a. Survey the field
b. Discuss rule changes
c. Discuss proper way to handle substitutes (at the half way PRIOR to the ball going out of play)
d. Discuss handling the bench
e. Discuss PK and other unusual situations
4. Discuss the best fit for officials for each game (center/experience/comfort/fatigue)
5. Ensure to include the head coach in the coin toss pre-game briefing
6. Figure out about hydration and food if needed for the specific host venue.

Have fun out there and be professional. New jerseys are required for the tournament.
