Hi All! As announced a week ago, I am ending the season early due to a few work projects that I can no longer ignore. This upcoming week will be our last week of official practices at Harrison. We will have our practice as usual on Tuesday, Feb. 28, and you can bring snacks to share with the club.

For Thursday’s practice we will be doing something different. We have been invited to practice at West Lafayette HS with the fencing club there. This will not be a tournament or meet, just another practice but this time with different fencers. They have more epee fencers than foil, so if you are looking to try your skills in epee, this would be a great opportunity. Also, WL has electric gear for sabre, so this is a chance to suit up and give it a try.

Practice on Thursday, Mar. 2, will begin at 3:45 pm at WLHS. We will be in their cafeteria, so we can enter the building in the back. You will need to work out your own transportation to and from WLHS. If you want to go and need a ride, I will have room for 3-4 people, first come first reserved, and with clear permission from your parents/guardians (a written note from your parent that it’s okay to give you a ride to WLHS).
