13 May by Coach Education Unit

The Player Education Program conducted for the Ampara District Under-19 Squad Players was successfully held on 13th May 2026 at the Ampara DCA Office, focusing on developing smarter decision-making and stronger team performances on the cricket field.

The session covered several key areas including game awareness, power play strategies, pressure handling, and the importance of teamwork in competitive cricket. Players were educated on understanding match situations, adapting to changing game scenarios, and making effective decisions during high-pressure moments.

Special emphasis was placed on how communication, trust, and collective effort can influence team success, helping young cricketers understand the value of working together both on and off the field.

The program provided an interactive learning environment aimed at improving the tactical understanding and mental approach of the players as they continue their development journey within district cricket.
