Presentation Skills & Year-End Review Workshop Conducted for NWP Coaches in Kurunegala
10 Dec by Coach Education Unit
A capacity-building program for North Western Province Provincial and District Coaches was conducted on 10th December 2025 at the Kurunegala Welagedara Stadium. The session focused on strengthening coaches’ presentation skills and guiding them through effective year-end review practices.
The workshop highlighted three key areas essential for modern coaching communication and reporting:
1. Understanding the important elements of a presentation
Coaches were briefed on structuring content, engaging their audience, using visual tools, and delivering messages with clarity and confidence.
2. How to create an effective presentation
The session covered step-by-step guidance on planning, designing slides, organizing information, and presenting technical cricket knowledge in a simple, impactful manner.
3. Key components of a year-end review
Educators explained how to evaluate coaching outcomes, identify strengths and gaps, document progress, and outline plans for the upcoming year.
The program aimed to enhance coaches’ ability to communicate their work professionally while improving their analytical and reporting skills. This initiative further supports the Coach Education Unit’s commitment to developing well-rounded coaches who can deliver high-quality coaching and contribute meaningfully to the growth of cricket in the region.
