A specialized skill development program for NPCA Coaches was conducted on 09th December 2025 at the Vavuniya MSD Academy Indoor Centre. The session, organized under the Coach Education Unit, focused on enhancing the technical and practical competencies of district and provincial coaches.

The program covered key aspects of modern coaching, including player skill refinement, effective training methodologies, session planning, and performance evaluation. Through a combination of demonstrations and interactive discussions, coaches were guided on how to deliver high-quality training sessions catered to the evolving demands of competitive cricket.

This initiative aims to strengthen the coaching structure within the NPCA region by developing knowledgeable, well-prepared coaches who can elevate player performance and contribute significantly to grassroots cricket development.

The Coach Education Unit will continue to conduct similar programs across the country to ensure consistent and progressive development of coaching standards nationwide.
