A well structured batting session can shape a future match-winner and that was the core focus of the Coach Education Program conducted on July 9, 2025, in Norwood. Organized by the Coach Education Unit and led by Coach Educator K. Karthigeson, the session brought together school coaches from the Nuwara Eliya District for an insightful workshop on How to Organise the Batting Session.

Coaches were guided through designing purposeful batting drills, creating session plans that balance technique, skill development, and match scenarios. The program emphasized the importance of progression, individual attention, and adapting to player needs. With a hands on approach and live demonstrations, the session empowered coaches to elevate the quality and impact of their training environments ultimately helping young batters develop consistency and confidence at the crease.
