In the spirit of fine-tuning the game off the field, a dynamic District Coaches Education Program was conducted on 4th July 2025 at the Matara District Cricket Office, focusing on sharpening coaching acumen and technical knowledge. Just like refining a bowler's line or perfecting a batter’s footwork, this session aimed to elevate the standards of grassroots coaching across the region.

The program was organized by Coach Education and was expertly led by Coach Educator Shanaka Fernando, who shared valuable insights into modern coaching practices, match preparation, and player development strategies. This initiative not only empowered district-level coaches with updated methodologies but also reinforced the commitment to nurturing cricketing excellence islandwide.
