SRI LANKA CRICKET LEVEL 2 COACHING COURSE
Sri Lanka Cricket is calling applications for this year’s Level 2 Cricket Coaching Course, which upskill coaches for developing first class players. This course is run by the Coach Education Unit of Sri Lanka Cricket at Super Provincial Centers according to the demand.

Eligibility:
• Sri Lankan Nationals who are currently accredited Level 1 Cricket Coach with minimum 3 years as a current practising Coach in Sri Lanka (Preference will be given to SLC level “1” accredited coaches)
• Valid first aid course certification
• Degree or a Diploma in Sport related studies will be an additional advantage
• Police Clearance Certificate must be submitted (Not more than six months old)
• Attendance to SLC conducted “Coach Education Programs” and holding valid “Coaching License” with SLC Coach Education Unit will be an added advantage
SLC employs the following preference criteria in selecting candidates for the Level “2” course:
 Coaches involved in 1st Class Cricket
 Coaches involved in Provincial & District Structure
 Under 19 Schools Division “1” & “2” Coaches
 Coaches involved at Emerging/Sara club level
 Coaches involved in other school teams & Academies
 National Cricketers Men & Women
The course will cover Pre- Course work (Online) –Practical work (with Tutors) – Post Course Work (Self) – Practical Work (for showcasing required skills)
• Course Fee: Rs.100,000/- per person
• The Course is conducted in both Sinhala & English
• Each course is restricted to 20 candidates only
• All stages of the program will involve use of latest technology & being conversant in using laptops, tablets & mobiles will accelerate learning
