New Floor Bar programs added and gallery for Home-Made Equipment!!

Two new floor bar programs have been added to training programs!!! (Thanks Alma for sharing!)
This may be a great program to try to aid your uneven bars conditioning if you have an adult or older sibling to help spot you.

If you don't have a floor bar you can use a low beam (with your fingers hanging over the edge) or a line drawn or taped onto the floor.! Or if you have someone handy at home you might be able to make one!

I have added folder to the gallery for home made equipment ideas. If you have made any equipment at home please add a photo of it to the folder

Spotting Tips for adults:-
1. Keep your core tight and spot the gymnast around their knees or hips (closer to their centre of mass) to make it easier.
2. Have your arms at approximately your own shoulder height or slightly higher to maximise your strength.
3. Make sure you have a stable base of support and legs wide and apart to help with your balance.
4. Start with the easier, less complex skills in the video to build your confidence and timing. IE start with the static shapes before moving onto the turning elements.
5. Have a soft mat on the ground near the bar, beam or line on the floor in case the gymnast needs to step down.
6. Practise!

Good luck and have fun!
