Due to the current positioning and potential impact of the cyclone in Southeast Queensland, we have made the decision to postpone this weekend’s Sunshine State MX Championship round in Mundubbera. While the venue itself does not appear that it will be directly affected, the safety of our riders, officials, and families remains our top priority. With severe weather conditions expected to impact travel routes, we want to ensure everyone remains safe and off the roads during this time.

The event has been rescheduled to 15th–16th March 2025. We understand that this date clashes with the NSW State Championship and recognise the inconvenience this may cause for some riders. However, given the current weather situation and the availability of alternative dates, this was the best option to ensure the event can proceed safely.

We appreciate your understanding and patience as we manage this rare and unforeseen circumstance. All existing entries will be automatically transferred to the new date. If you are unable to attend the rescheduled event, please contact racesecretary@mqld.org.au to discuss your options.
