Now that our Number 2 green is back in use players are advised that you MUST wear approved footwear whilst playing on the green.
Un-approved footwear was worn on the green yesterday and minor damage could be seen on the surface.
A lot of time, effort and money has been spent on the surface so we can play on a premium grade grass green , so we need to look after it.
Don't be offended if you are asked to replace your footwear or go barefoot prior to a game if your current footwear does not comply.
