This past week marked the end of the JV season with both our JV boys and girls team competing at APS JV City Championships. Our teams did an amazing job and we are incredibly proud of their effort this season. With the JV season coming to an end, please wash and return your uniform to one of the coaches. Please make sure your uniform is in a bag that has your name clearly written on it.
Our varsity team was at the Richard Harper Invitational both Friday and Saturday.Congratulations to Brennon Nelson who qualified for state in the javelin, Maile Tanner qualified the 400, Shayne Moss who qualified in the 100 hurdles, Jordan Jones who qualified for triple jump, and our boys 4x800 and 4x400 relays for qualifying for state.
Huge congratulations to Carysa Marquez who broke the school record in the 3200, running 11:03 (she broke the old record earlier this season), then breaking the 1600 meter school record running a time of 5:09.23.
