VALE PETER READ (LIFE MEMBER)
The Sandy Bay Sailing Club has been saddened by the news of the recent passing of Life Member, Peter Read. Peter has been a great ambassador and stalwart of our club and has ensured that our history will live on through his work in documenting our amazing story. Peter’s passion for the sport of sailing extended beyond his beloved Sandy Bay Sailing Club and we are sure his loss will be felt by the wider Tasmanian yachting fraternity. The Committee would like to pass our deepest condolences to Peter’s family including his son Martin, but especially those family members close to us, Jenny, Les, Amy & Alex Potter who continue his legacy at SBSC.
Friends and Family are warmly invited to a celebration of Peter's Life to be held at Sandy Bay Sailing Club from 11am until 1pm on June 14th. No flowers please. RSVP for catering would be appreciated:
