Pre-season training is on again this weekend! Training will be run for Optis (including Green Fleet), International Cadets & 29ers.
September 23rd, 30th & October 7th sessions remain.
Opti’s (Green, Intermediate & Open): RRTG* 9:30 am – 12 pm
29er: RRTG* 9:30 am – 12 pm
International Cadets: RRTG* 12:15 pm – 3 pm

OPENING DAY
Opening Day for the season is on October 21st! This is the first day of Green Fleet & Club racing. Club racing this season has been moved forward to 1 pm start. We look forward to seeing you all there for the start of the racing season! More information about Opening Day will be released soon !!

ZHIK TAS YOUTH SAIL
The 2023 Zhik Youth Sail Tasmania event includes a two-day coaching camp with Tasmania’s top coaches followed by the two day Tasmania Youth Championships. You can register via the following link: https://www.sailingyouth.org.au/tasmania-state-youth-championship/ .

GREEN FLEET TERM 4 – REGISTRATION OPEN!
Green Fleet is a unique program to Sandy Bay Sailing Club and is the main induction point for new sailors and their families. It is a structured environment where new sailors learn both the rhythms of life at the club as well as make friends, further develop their sailing skill, and get a taste of the sport side of sailing. SBSC is a sports-focused
club, providing training and development for sailors up through their young adult years… and it all starts with the learning and fun at Green Fleet!

First session October 21st – 9am to 12pm

If you are a NEW green fleet sailor and club member you receive your first term free. Please email admin@sandybaysailingclub.org.au to receive your discount code.
Please note below some special dates and times:
- no training October 28th (show weekend)
- no training November 25th (PJs Super series)

This year the event will run in conjunction with the 2023 International Cadet & 29er Tasmanian Championships.
