NO GREEN FLEET PROGRAMMING—- as all Greens are encouraged to participate in the Tasmanian State Champs (which is just another word for 2-days of sailing, instead of 1!)

All other classes: ARVO CLUB RACING First Start 1330hrs, for Trophy Racing. Coach Lizzi will run a briefing for Cadets at 1245pm.

LAST WEEK –
Another big day for SBSC Greens, with 29 keen beans on the water. Another big WELCOME to our friends from Esperance for joining in! Sailors enjoyed a gentle morning Southerly and completed 6 triangle races – lots of great upwind sailing and successful gybes at the mark!

Pennant Racing continued in the Southerly, with a full SBSC force of Cadets, Lasers, 29ers hitting the race course with the Optis bolstered by a large pod of “Dark Greens” who are transitioning to intermediate fleet! A big WELL DONE to the Cadet Fleet for applying the “holding on the line” training during the starts. Notably the best starts of all the fleets, the gauntlet has been dropped… Another big shout out to Indy C and Olive T for bringing the heat to the Laser 4.7 races!

NEXT WEEK –
March Long Weekend… and the club is closed! Enjoy a weekend with the family, at the shack, in the garden, or get down to the club anyway and go for your own sail!
NOTE – there is NO mid-week 29ers on the Monday. Mid-week resumes on the Tuesday.
