LAST WEEK-
Welcome back to all the intrepid sailors and even more intrepid parents who trekked down South to Dover. Was great to see that all the humans and boats made it back to campus in good nic :D
And another welcome back to all the sailors who came to the first race day of the season on Saturday, Toby R the only Laser to head out from SBSC did us proud with a race win, and the Cadet fleet was in full force and having fun with the crew-race swap! A special mention to Rory S and Seb P for their first ever Cadet race. (Look out Grace, Olive H might not go back to crewing… ever!) Opti and 29er fleets were low in number but high in grit, grunt and enthusiasm for the weird and wacky conditions.
Sunday Green Fleet Sail & Party was a huge success with 21 sailors and 18 boats on the water… Santa was VERY GOOD to many recent learn to sail graduates this year… lots of new boats in the boatpark, and lots of new parents WEARING SHORTS and diving in to the fun! :D

NEXT WEEK -
Is also an event weekend, CROWN SERIES hosted by Bellerive Yacht Club. This is a 2-day event open to Intermediate Optis & above. Rego is not yet available, stand by for details.
GREEN FLEET will be on, with a later start, 10am.

Enjoy the week and don’t forget to Rego for Mid-Week and Hobart Show Regatta!
