Update to our junior rugby season 🏉

Unfortunately round 1 which was due to start this Friday isn’t to be.

However, we are in hope that as things improve that we still might get to see our children play, have fun, be challenged and enjoy our wonderful game on Friday nights.

Until we are directed to get back out there the following dates are what we are aiming for. These dates can all change:

TRAINING:
All things going well Training will start from Monday 29 June in line with Rugby Australia.

GET INTO RUGBY
Get into rugby week 3 and 4 will take place on Friday 3/7 and 10/7. This is for the 160 kids that have already done week 1 and 2.
90 mins instead of 60 minutes to give our kids plenty of rugby. Dinner, desert and a drink each week.

COMPETITION
Starts - 1st week in term 3 - Friday 24th July

Finish - Friday 25 September.

Finals in 12s and 10s - 1v2, 3v4, 5 v out on the last night. 8s as normal. No semis this year.

Coffs Crusaders GALA DAY:
Our best day of the year will take place on Sunday 13 September.

ARMIDALE GALA DAY:
We are still planning to take under 10, 11 and 12s team up should this day go ahead.

CONTINGENCY PLAN:
If the start date gets pushed back the season will too into October/November. Don’t worry we are determined to get a season in where we can.

REGISTRATION
We won't ask kids to sign up until closer to 29 June. It’s a 5 minute process so please wait.

REFEREES
Any person turning 13 years or older and wants to be a referee on Friday Nights please contact Lance Smith on 0427006558
