Seaside tournament game info
18 Feb 2020 by Jason Ford
Cascade 5th grade girls play on Saturday at 1pm vs. Longview Crushers and again at 7pm (opponent either Astoria or Port Angeles based on win/loss scenario). The 1pm game is at Seaside High School upstairs. The 7pm game location is still to be determined (due to potential varsity playoff game hosted at Seaside High School Saturday night). Check the bracket on Saturday to determine the location of you 7pm game.
Sunday will be determined after Saturday games are complete. Please read all of the following😊
Please send me a quick email confirmation that you did receive these times and locations.
Every team is guaranteed 4 games and two games will be played each day.
The entire schedule is not posted online during the week. On Friday night, photos of the finalized and confirmed brackets/schedules will be posted on our facebook site at Pacific Basketball League. Please communicate to parents that there is an entry fee (cash only) into the gym each day for spectators and also that championship games and often time third place games could be played as late at 7pm Sunday night.
Tournament t-shirts and sweatshirts will be for sale at most venues and it is advised to purchase on Saturday to ensure that you get the size and color that you want. The largest stock will be at Broadway Middle School and Seaside High School.
Tournaments rules are all Oregon High School rules with these exceptions;
2 twenty minute running clock halves with stop time the last two minutes of each half. If the point difference is 20 or more in the second half then the clock will continue to run.
3 full time-outs allowed per game.
We strictly enforce the Oregon High School rule that if a coach, player or spectator gets 2 technical fouls and/or ejected from a game for poor behavior then they cannot participate in any way (not even attend) the next game following that game.
We do not designate home and away teams. Not all teams have two jerseys so if you do then please bring both and adjust as needed to the team you are matched up against.
