Location: Hamburg Area High School, 701 Windsor St., Hamburg, PA 19526
Entry Fee: $35 Online entries only. Team discount $32 for teams with 30+
kids. Register at PYwrestling.com
Admission: $10 per adult, $5 per student, Children 5 and under are free
Deadline to enter is midnight Thursday February 26, 2026
Online registration will be shut down if tournament reaches capacity before 2/26/26
NO WALK-INS WILL BE ACCEPTED NO AGE/WEIGHT CHANGES DAY OF TOURNAMENT
Weight classes: Honor system/No weigh- ins. Wrestlers will be grouped by MADISON system.
Scale available for challenges. Must be within 2 lbs. of submitted weight.
Age/Skill: Age is AS OF DATE OF TOURNAMENT. Novice is 1st and 2nd year wrestlers ONLY.
Divisions: **NOVICE ENTRIES NOTE: if your novice wrestler consistently wins/places in novice
events please consider registering them in open to promote better competition.
Pee wee: 6 and under
Novice Bantam: 8 and under; 2 yrs or less of experience Open Bantam: 8 and under; 3yrs or more experience
Novice Midget: 10 and under, 2yrs or less of experience Open Midget: 10 and under; 3 yrs or more experience
Novice Junior: 12 and under; 2 yrs or less of experience Open Junior: 12 and under; 3 yrs or more experience
*NO DOUBLE BRACKETING OR ENTERING BOTH SESSIONS*
START TIMES:
Morning Session: PEE WEE and ALL NOVICE DIVISIONS: Doors open at 7 am. Check in 8am. Wrestling starts 8:30am
Afternoon Session: Check in at 11:30-12:30. Wrestling begins at approximately 1pm.
Format/Rules: Round Robin format, Modified PIAA rule, (3) 1 minute periods, OT (1) 1 minute sudden death
Followed by 30 ride out if needed. No sneakers or T-Shirts allowed,
Headgear is MANDATORY. Using 5-6 mats in adjacent gyms.
Awards: 1
st, 2nd, and 3rd place trophies for OPEN, 1st place trophies, 2nd, 3rd place
medals for NOVICE.
Refreshments: Full concessions will be available all day
