The results for the MOB Match LRC v LAC are attached to this brief report. A great morning was had by all. (I could just end the report there)

Thank you to Polkemmet Parkrun for being such good hosts and making everyone feel welcome. In the long tradition of MOB Matches, which pre date modern Cross Country Races, we had four categories, 1 Biggest MOB, 2 Fastest three Females, 3 Fastest three males, 4 Points race based on finish positions. LRC prevailed in all four categories. The closest was the fastest 3 males with Ryan, James (Not Club Captain for nothing!) & Danny ahead of LAC by only 5 seconds! Our fastest three females were Lana, Andrea & Abigail. who were nearly 3 minutes ahead of LAC. LRC had a total of 68 finishers, from young Rachel to the experienced Clifford and Phillip.

Big shout out to Birthday girl Joanne for stepping up and keeping things organised on the day. Was great to see Margaret Hyman along supporting, her husband Martin first introduced me to MOB matches many years ago.

LAC have disappeared back over the Bathgate Alps to plan a rematch at Auldcathie in the Autumn. Watch this space, we now have a tradition to keep up!
