We’re on the lookout for volunteers to help out behind the bar at Glenlea Tennis Club over the winter and summer seasons. It’s a simple but really meaningful way to contribute – the bar creates a welcoming atmosphere on Friday nights and Saturday afternoons, and it’s something players and visitors really appreciate.
If you’re a regular around the courts – especially parents – this is a great chance to give back, connect with others, and be part of what makes Glenlea special. To serve behind the bar, volunteers must hold a Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate.
To make it easy, the committee is organising a free RSA training night, fully funded by the club (normally $100 per person). We’re aiming for a Tuesday night in June, but we’ll confirm the date based on what works best for the group. We’re only asking for a small commitment – maybe twice a season – but it will make a big difference to the club.
Interested? Reach out to any committee member by the end of next week or Bronwyn
