Hi Hockey Families,

I've had a few parents ask me in the past couple weeks to see if I will be organizing a Summer Sunday Skates again this year...and Yes I am.

I will be running 2 skates this year, one for Atom 2010-2011 (Deb Parker has offered to help organize...Thanks) and one for Peewee 2008-2009. The format will be the same, 3 on 3 cross-ice for half of the time and 4 on 4 full ice for the other half. The whistle, or horn (Thanks Matt) will sound every minute for shift changes. The skates are open to all levels of players and will be offered to Hawks players first. No score will be kept and the idea is for players to have fun, get some puck touches and try things that they may not during practices or games.

I have the following dates booked at Centennial Arena:
July 5, 12, 19, 26
August 9, 16, 23, 30

The Atom Group will play from 4:30-6 on all days except August 23rd (5-6:30) and 30th 2-3:30
The Peewee Group will play from 6-7:30 on all days except August 23rd & 30th (6:30-8).

There are 24 player and 4 goalie spots available for each session.
The cost for the 12 hours of ice will be $175

I need to make a deposit on the ice before the end of March, so if you know you would like a spot please sign up by sending me an e-mail and e-transfer the fee to:

If you would like to reserve a spot and pay closer to the summer please let me know.

If you can't commit to a full time spot and would like to be placed on a call list, please let me know as well. These spots will be filled on a first come first serve basis, based on availability. No guarantees of a call and could be last minute. A drop in fee will apply.
