Ladies A 2-4

On to the Men's A that always serves up a great game. With many Scottish Internationals on show, it was always going to provide a high standard of darts. The crowd were not disappointed.

First up Alan Small, who was scoring for fun, missed too many doubles, losing 4 - 1. Next three sets went Fife's way. Kevin Feeley, Jimmy Gay and a very composed Aaron French all winning. Colin Miller was next, who although posting a 30+ avg, lost to the experienced Brian Woods. Fife again won the next three sets, Jamie Clark with a very good 29.98 avg, Alex Jeffery & Paddy Reilly, throwing steady darts to take the win. Colin Hepplewhite found The Newly Capped Matt Goldie too good, Matt winning 4 - 1. So on to the last three sets, where everything to play for. Due to an personal issue, Fife had to concede the 11th set as Dayle Morgan had to leave, which meant the score was 6 - 4 with two to play. On number 10 was the evergreen, Mr Steady himself, Rab Shaw, who didn't disappoint, defeating Scott Robertson, 4 - 2. So with the 11th set going to Grampian, it was up to Dean Carr to get the draw, which he impressively did. Both were nervy, with doubles being missed by both, however it was Dean who edged it out 4 - 3
