Kentucky Middle School State Meet

Congratulations to all our athletes who competed at the Middle School State Meet this weekend. You all showed up and showed out!

Special shout out to our new athletes who ran at the meet and will join the team this summer Holden B, Sienna M, Zalaya S and Zoa S.

Holden B ran the 4×100m with his team from Walden School.

Sienna M ran the 100m hurdles for E.J. Hayes MS.

Zoa ran relays with Western Middle School.

Zalaya S placed 2nd in the 400m with a new PR, a sub-60 run, and a new school record for JCTMS!

Jaliyah T and her teammates from JCTMS (including Zalaya) won the 4×100m and 4×200m relays and set a new state meet record in the 4×200m. Jaliyah also placed 7th in the 200m and ran her PR, which is also a school record for JCTMS.

Riley B represented Spencer County MS and placed 2nd in the 100m hurdles and 3rd in the 300m hurdles with a new PR!

Grace B ran the 100m, 4×100m, and 200m for Johnson Traditional MS. She placed 3rd overall in the 200m with a new PR!

LeZharia B ran the 100m, 200m, and 400m races representing McCracken County MS. She medaled in each of her races placing 5th in the 100m, 2nd in the 200m with a new PR, and 7th in 400m.

Congratulations to all! 🎉🎉🎉 We are very proud of your efforts and look forward to more success over the summer.
