I have received the following email from Seta who is working with Hobsons Bay to engage the Pasifika population with Basketball programming. Please see below the email from Seta.

HOBSONS BAY / WEB PASIFIKA mentoring program.

Hi my name is Seta and I’m a coach from the (WEB) WESTSIDE ELITE BASKETBALL teaming up with HOBSONSBAY CITY COUNCIL in delivering a FREE comunity mentoring program targeting our PASIFIKA Polynesian community.
We’ll be showcasing to student/Athletes the different pathway & opportunities for them through education and sport !!
ie; basketball.

We’ll be running 2 x FREE ;
2 x Hour clinics per week.
MONDAYS 7:30-9:30 pm ( U14- U21)
TUESDAYS 4:30-6:30pm (U8 – U12s)
and will run for 8 x weeks )

which will cover coach development and player skills & fundamentals development which showcases all the benefits and opportunities that may arise from participating in Sport (basketball) what percentage% of students athletes are of Polynesian descent at your school/ Club ?
And how can we work with HOBSONS BAY City Council and your school/ club in delivering this free program to our people , your athletes and coaches of our community
