Good afternoon anglers!

Tomorrow is our volunteer event! Lot's of planning went into this and we're really excited.

We'll be meeting at the Lake 1 shelter at 9 am and I'll let you know what ramp you'll be going to for the morning. WEAR YOUR JERSEY. I'll be creating "teams" of 5-6 anglers per ramp (Lake 1-3, North Center, South Center, Chisago, Comfort, Big Marine) so if you want to form a group and show up together that's okay with me. I recommend brining some gloves, a chair, and a fishing rod with you just in case. (We're having a pitching/flipping contest during the cookout). I'll provide a garbage bag and gloves if you don't have them.

From there you'll go to your assigned ramp (feel free to carpool) and pick up any and all trash in the parking lot, surrounding grass, shore line, etc. Either throw trash away in a garbage can or the garbage bag given to you, Help boaters take weeds off their boat and trailer, Be friendly – talk to people and share you are part of the FLAS fishing team and what you are doing (cleaning up the local lake landings). Take pictures – please take a couple pictures of you all making a difference and text them to AJ (715.417.0217)

Between 11-11:30 you'll head back to the lake 1 shelter and we'll be having a cookout and be giving away prizes. Some of our sponsors will be coming by as well. I went to Cabelas this morning with Brian from the Tracker Boating Center and bought $1,000 in prizes to give away during the cook out!

We'll wrap up and clean up around 1:30 as there is another group that has the shelter rented after us.

Thank you to those of you who have let me know you won't be attending. It seems like most of us will be there, I'm excited for this event. Hopefully it's the first of many!
