The Grand Rapids Thunderhawks Archery program is a co-sponsored program of ISD 318 Community Education.  The program is part of NASP.  In order to be part of the program archers must be enrolled in a school within the district that offers NASP curriculum as part of the school curriculum. The team welcomes any students to participate, become accepted in the social group with a common interest.

Students in grades 6th through 12th, who attend Robert J. Elkington Middle School, or Grand Rapids High School, are eligible to participate in Thunderhawks Archery, with specific exceptions. Practices are usually held from November through March, with approximately seven to eight tournaments.
