The Burleigh Ocean Swim is back for its 13th year.
The swim is organised by the Burleigh Heads SLSC comprising a swim of 2km or 1km with a Dash for Cash for our open swimmers and a 400m swim for our Mighty Juniors (8 – 10 years).
Cash, prizes & random draws.
Commencing with the 2km swim from 7am with staggered starts of age groups followed by the Mighty Juniors and the 1km swim. Presentation at the completion of the swims.

Dash for Cash Prize Money Open Male & Female is 1st only $500
1km & 2km entrants receive a T-Shirt , Swim Cap and timing.

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY ELIGIBILITY
Entrants are restricted to
A) Any person 8 years of age or older who has adequately trained for this event
B) Swimmers in good physical condition. Any person’s entry in this event is at the absolute and unfettered discretion of the Race Committee and all competitors agree that they will obey all directions of the Water Safety / Patrols during this entire competition.

MEDICAL
Swimmers physical condition will be their own responsibility.
All participants are urged to train and have a medical checkup prior to this event.

RACE COMMITTEE:
All decisions made by the Race Committee are final and competitors have no rights of protest or appeal.

PROCEEDS
Net proceeds will go to Burleigh Heads Mowbray Park Surf Life Saving Club Inc.

CANCELLATION
The event organisers reserve the right to cancel or change the event format, postpone the race due to rough or dangerous seas or any other safety concerns. In the event of cancellation, postponement or course change there will be no refund of the entry fee.

RACE KIT COLLECTION
On Saturday 22nd October 2022 from 3pm-4pm
Race kits will be available for collection at the Burleigh Heads Surf Club.
Alternatively kits will be available from 5:30am on race day.

RACE START:
