Thank you to all our Members who volunteered to assist with workforce for tomorrows Ocean Swim. Unfortunately we have had to make the decision to postpone until Sunday 20th November.

We regret to advise that the Burleigh Ocean Swim has been postponed due to the dangerous surf conditions at Burleigh Heads after consultation with Surf Life Saving Queensland and our safety committee, it was a unanimous decision.

We have rescheduled the swim for 20th November subject to approvals within the next few days. With the date only 4 weeks away, all entries will be re entered and an event notification will be issued to every swimmer by 6th November outlining the event details.

We apologise for the situation and any inconvenience it may have caused. We take your safety very seriously when organising this event. Thank you for your understanding.

NOT ALL IS LOST
With a number of swimmers here from interstate, Phil Clayton and the team at Saltwater Swimmers have offered to run a swimming session at Tallebudgera Creek. It’s an early start 6:00am – 7:00am to beat the outgoing tide. Coaches and water safety will be provided. $15 cash on the morning.
