Match report

Our first 11s game of the year took us to the Cheshire County FA pitch to play Heart Warriors.

The game started end to end with plenty of chances being created from both sides. The warriors got the first and second to set the pace. Mush Utd grabbed one back from a corner from one of our top scorer contenders last year, Jordan Ingham. The warriors bagged a third not long after but with half time looming we pulled back another goal to make it 3-2, Gary Driscoll scoring on his debut!

A competitive 1st half setup a great 2nd half to come….. however, the quality of the Warriors really started to show through. That with 3 injuries too from our team saw Heart Warriors get themselves another 4 goals with no reply, winning the game 7-2!

Apart from the 2nd half hammering we enjoyed the day, the lads at Heart Warriors were spot on and we all helped raise more funds for the chosen charity for the Match which was Ronald McDonald House Charities.

Man of the match for Mush Utd was Saif at the back, who despite the scoreline put in a great performance.
