REGISTRATION CLOSES THIS SUNDAY, MARCH 16TH (NO EXCEPTIONS) **the league site registration closes March 24th, but our team requirement is March 16th. Forms and payments are NOT required by March 16th.

Following our Student Registration Checklist is key to a successful complete registration. The registration checklist, forms and team schedule are attached to this email and can also be found on hastinghighschooltrapteam.com under the forms tab. There are several steps to registration on two different websites and paper form(s) on our team site that need to be completed and turned in, so this is not an online only registration process. Also, you will be paying a $40 league registration fee online to the league ($40 for skeet as well if shooting both) when registering on claytargetgo.com. Our team registration fees are paid by cash or check only made out to HHS Trap Team. **If you are not registered on the claytargetgo.com league website by the registration deadline you will not be able to participate, NO EXCEPTIONS!

2025 Athlete Fees
First year Trap (includes team jersey) $185
Returning Trap (already have jersey) $160

Skeet only $160

REPEAT/VERY IMPORTANT:
The 2025 Season calendar has been updated and is attached to include the photo date and to correct the skeet championship date. You can also view and print the calendar on our team website hastingshighschooltrapteam.com
Only 8th through 12th grade students are allowed to register for trap without prior approval from head trap coach Earl Robinson by contacting him at (651) 238-0881 or by email at lrobin5@aol.com Due to limited skeet team size all skeet shooters require prior approval from head skeet coach Darin Berg to register for skeet by contacting him at (612) 247-9743 or by email at darinrberg@yahoo.com.
Once registered on the hastingshighschooltrapteam.com team website you will update or new students will create your league student profile on claytargetgo.com, register and pay the $40 league fee online. (League Team ID has035)
Note: If registering as a new team member you will have to wait 24 hours after creating your user profile to be added to the claytargetgo.com team roster by a head coach. Then new members can finalize claytargetgo.com registration and pay the $40 league fee online.
Because trap and skeet have separate rosters you actually have to register for both separately on claytargetgo.com site and pay the league $40 registration fee for both online directly to the league.
Yes, you have to do two online registrations on two different websites and if shooting trap and skeet you have to register for both trap and skeet separately on the claytargetgo.com league site.
As far as forms to be turned in to Dawn Walker there are two on our team website under the forms tab. The Code of Conduct must be completed every year by every student and turned in prior to any shooting. The 3M Trap Club Liability Waiver only needs to be completed once, so that form is only needed for those new to the team.
Be aware that the shirt size on your claytargetgo.com online registration is the size of team jersey we will be ordering for new shooters.
Form(s) and team registration payments should be mailed to Dawn Walker at 216 6th Street East in Hastings (or feel free to leave in mailbox on porch) with checks payable to HHS Trap Team. We do not accept credit card payments. Team registration and sweatshirt/additional jersey payments can be combined. Dawn will also be accepting form(s) and team payments at the February 12th student/parent meeting at 5:30 (meeting at 6pm) and at the March 23rd Inspection/Training Day.
Order forms for optional team sweatshirt are attached and can also be printed off our team website merchandise page. If you want a 2nd team jersey for $45.00 contact Dawn Walker by March 16th at the latest. Sweatshirt orders will be due by Saturday, April 5th.
The reason we require the quick registration on our team site is so that we can compare that list to the claytargetgo.com league team roster and make sure that all students are registered on the league site by the deadline. The league will not make exceptions to add anyone after the league registration is closed and we have has students miss out in the past.
Students that attend the state trap or skeet championships at the end of the season will pay those individual registration fees at that time online to the league through your claytargetgo.com student account that you used to register for the league. ($45 for trap, $45 for skeet, and/or $95 for nationals). See attached team calendar for championship dates.
Other optional team merch such as gun belts, hats, car stickers, etc. will be available for sale on shooting days at the team trailer once we get started. The team does have protective eyewear and gun belts at the team trailer that can be borrowed and turned back in at the end of the day.
Athletes and parents need to familiarize themselves with our team website hastingshighschooltrapteam.com as well as the mnlaytarget.com league site.

Senior Scholarship Opportunity: The league's Jim Sable Scholarship for Environmental Sciences and Conservation Education gives 40 $1,000.00 scholarships. Deadline to apply May 15th. Visit usaclaytarget.com/scholarships

All shooters are eligible to attend on Tuesday, June 17th. I have been unable to secure any blocks and being told they are not offering blocks. One hotel was offering but now not responding.
